About the Scholarship
The Foundation For Excellence, a 30-year old registered NGO awards merit cum means scholarships to gifted students from financially deprived backgrounds pursuing Engineering, Medical, Law and Integrated Mtech degrees in India.
The financial support for students through scholarships, is combined with skills training along with opportunities for employee engagement, particularly mentoring, projects, internships, workshops and similar, that makes this a well-rounded program for students, and is the largest program of its kind with a pan India presence (27 States).
Students studying in their first year in any of the AICTE, NMC or BCI approved Government, Aided or Private colleges in India are eligible to apply. Students are awarded the scholarship, once they clear the background verification check performed with the help of local volunteers. They receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 50000/- which can be used for their tuition, hostel/mess or book expenses.
Mission Statement
The mission of FFE is to bring about a transformation in the lives of academically bright but economically underprivileged students in India by enabling them to complete their higher education in India.
Eligibility
Students must meet the following academic & financial qualifying criteria for eligibility for FFE scholarship program:
- Combined Family Income: Rs.3 lakh or less per annum
- The applicants should have passed their Higher Secondary/Intermediate/ CBSE/ISC
or equivalent not earlier than 2022, 2023 or 2024
- Only for BE/B.Tech / Integrated 5-Yr Dual-Degree MTech / MBBS / 5-Yr Integrated Law
students currently in 1st year.
