National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was constituted by an Act of Parliament in 1988 under the administrative control of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways NHAI has been set up as a Central Authority to develop, maintain and manage the National Highways entrusted to it by the Government of India. The authority, however, became operational in February, 1995.

About the Opportunity

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites online application for the post of Chief General Manager (Legal).

Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.
• 17 years’ service as Group – ‘A’ Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- (pre-revised in CDA pattern equivalent to Pay Level-10 (56100-177500) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC or equivalent level post or higher on regular basis out of which 07 years’ experience in the field of law related to contractual matters/ arbitration/ legislative matters/ land acquisition.

Salary

PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs.10000 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-14 (Rs.144200- 218200) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
