About the Job & Internship Opportunity
Are you a lawyer who is ready to embark upon a career in intellectual property law or continue on your existing journey with IP? Selvam & Selvam is inviting applications from eligible lawyers for the following positions:
- Assessment Intern (currently not in any employment or graduated/graduating in the year 2023)
- Compensation: Stipend of 15,000/- per month.
- Duration: 1 – 3 months before confirmed as a Trainee Associate.
- No of positions: 4
- Note: Apply only if you can accept a full-time employment at the end of the internship.
- Trainee Associates (currently employed with an IP law firm with up to 1 year of experience).
- Compensation: Rs. 20,000 to 30,000/- per month
- Probation Duration: 3 months before you are confirmed as a Junior Associate
- No of positions: 4
- Junior Associates & Associates: 1+ years to 3+ years PQE in an IP-specific role in a law firm.
- Compensation: As per industry standards.
- No of positions: 4
Who can Apply?
Only those candidates can apply who:
- can join us at our Chennai office on or before June 1, 2023
- wants to make a career in Intellectual Property law.
- are available for a minimum period of 2 years.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Fresher or 1-4 years’ experience at an IP law firm;
- Excellent language skills in English, both written and verbal;
- Smart worker, organized and tech-savvy;
- Ability to work independently and to take own initiatives;
- Self-starter, ready to work in the entrepreneurial atmosphere is a must;
- A team player with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Computer skills with the knowledge to use Excel/MS Word etc.
