About JUST FAIR

The JUST FAIR program offers an insightful Research Seminar, co-supervision by leading local and international scholars and practitioners, research partnerships with international students, and research workshops.

In addition, the Program provides 10 scholarships for a cohort of talented, motivated, and hard-working students of Law, Political Science, and other related disciplines interested in implementing a research project on Access to Justice issues.

About the Fellowship

Eurasia International University, within the Justice Reform Monitoring in Armenia project funded by the European Union, is delighted to announce the launch of the JUST FAIR Fellowship Program.

This Fellowship Program supports students who are currently working or are planning to start their work on graduate theses or other research projects related to the issues of Access to Justice.

Eligibility

  • Advanced BA, MA, or PhD students of Law,
  • Political Science, or other related disciplines,
  • Enrolled to any university in Armenia, and
  • Available for in-person classes.

Research Areas

  • Philosophical, theoretical and constitutional foundations of access to justice;
  • Access to justice and judicial performance assessment;
  • Access to environmental justice;
  • Access to justice in international and European law;
  • Access to justice and vulnerable groups;
  • And access to justice, new technologies and digitalization;
  • Access to justice and ADR.

Fellowship Support

  • Co-supervision and external
  • Consultancy by external experts (scholars and practitioners);
  • Research partnerships with civil society actors and/or governmental agencies and international students from our Partner Universities working on similar topics;
  • Three Workshops on the topics of students’ research projects;
  • Individual financial support (scholarship) in the amount equivalent to 600-euro gross to each of the selected 10 participants;
  • Guidance in preparing research papers for presentation at conferences.

Important Dates

  • Info session: 15 February 2025 (EIU, 24/2 Azatutyan Ave., room 630 and online).
  • Application Deadline: 20 February 2025.
  • Research Seminar Duration: 1 March – 27 April 2025.
  • Research Project Completion: By the end of October 2025.
