About the Workshop

Human Trafficking is the fastest growing crime and the second largest illegal trade in the world. Article 23 of the Constitution of India prohibits the trafficking of human beings and forced labour. Various other Indian laws and India’s ratification of several international laws also clarify India’s stand on trafficking.In March 2013, India passed the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act of 2013.

Registration Fees

Rs. 500 for students,academicians, advocates and others

Please note: Transport, Activities and Extras such as tours are not included in the registration.

Mode of Payment

DD drawn in favour of “Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology” payable at Chennai on or before 10th March 2020. The registration fee includesworking lunch, refreshments and certificate of participation. Registration commences by 8:30 am. Spot registration is available on prior request.
