Jagran Lakecity University is located in Bhopal and is a fully government approved state university established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh by Act No 22 of 2013 and is recognized by UGC under section 2 of Act, 1956.

About the Symposium

National Symposium on Dynamics of Abortion Politics and Social Justice is going to be organized by Jagran Lakecity University, School of Law on 15th February 2020. We are inviting research papers from students, professionals, academicians and research scholars from various fields on different sub themes.

Sub Themes

1. Social, cultural and religious perspectives relating to abortion.

2. Creating a just economic order for sexual and reproductive health.

3. Role of judiciary in advancing justice and equity through issues related to abortion.

4. Case studies and individual experiences, if any.

5. Role of NGO’s in sensitizing communities and providing related services.

Note – The Author can submit the paper on any sub-theme of the National Symposium.

Participation and Registration Procedure

• Co-authorship is permitted with a maximum of two authors only.
• Interested participants have to make a provisional registration by filling the registration form attached in the brochure through Email at ns2020.sol@jlu.edu.in till 15th January, 2020. The same shall be confirmed on receiving of the payment and registration form.
• All submissions for the symposium have to be electronically mailed with the subject column as ‘Submission – Full paper, bearing the name (s) of the author(s) as the file name, only at the following email address: ns2020.sol@jlu.edu.in

Note

1. Selected papers shall be allowed for presentation in the symposium.

2. Certificate of participation will be issued to each participant after completion of the symposium.
