About AFPR

Adhyayan Foundation for Policy & Research (AFPR) is an independent non-profit, research, and educational organization (regd. as an NPC u/s 8 of the Companies Act, 2013) dedicated to producing quality research to help in the formulation, assessment, and implementation of public policies.

It strives towards bridging the gap in policymaking for the wholesome growth and development of our country. We are committed to producing legal research of the highest standard with the aim of informing public debate and contributing to improved governance.

About the Program

The Next Gen Ideator Program is a student-led initiative designed to foster engagement, promote awareness, and recruit new members for AFPR on college campuses.

Next Gen Ideators act as on-the-ground representatives, organizing events, spreading the word about AFPR’s mission, and connecting with students who share their passion for Public Policy and Research.

By joining the Program, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on your campus community and contribute to AFPR’s success.

Roles and Responsibilities

Research and Writing 

  • Publication and Research Work: Publishing two articles per week. 
  • Regular research assignments as per the needs of the organisation and the domain of work. 

On-Campus Promotion

  • Organize events: Host workshops, seminars, or guest lectures related to AFPR’s mission.
  • Create awareness: Distribute flyers, posters, or digital content to promote AFPR’s activities.
  • Social media engagement: Share AFPR’s posts, stories, and updates on your personal social media accounts.
  • Campus outreach: Set up information booths or tables at campus events.

Recruitment and Reach

  • Recruit new members: Identify potential members who align with AFPR’s values and invite them to join.
  • Engage with existing members: Organize social events or activities to foster a sense of community among AFPR members on campus.
  • Mentor new members: Provide guidance and support to new members as they transition into the organization.

Feedback Collection

  • Gather feedback: Collect feedback from students on AFPR’s initiatives, events, and resources.
  • Provide insights: Share your observations and suggestions with AFPR leadership to help improve the organization.

Represent AFPR at Events

  • Attend conferences: Represent AFPR at relevant conferences or events.
  • Network: Connect with other students, faculty, and professionals in the field.

Collaborate with AFPR Leadership

  • Communicate regularly: Maintain open communication with AFPR leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute ideas: Share your ideas and suggestions for improving AFPR’s programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in India or abroad.
  • Preference will be given to students pursuing degrees in fields that are directly relevant to public policy, such as Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Law, Public Administration, Health Policy, Engineering, and Environmental Science among others.
  • No prior Experience Required. 
  • Needs to commit 15-20 hours per week. 
  • It is a part-time role (Virtual)
