An Act further to amend the Agriculturists' Loans Act, 1884, in its application to the State of Maharashtra.
Whereas, it is expedient to amend the Agriculturists' Loans Act, 1884, in its application to the State of Maharashtra, for the purpose hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
- Short title.- This Act may be called the Agriculturists' Loans (Maharashtra Amendment) Act, 1965.
- Amendment of section 4 of Act XII of 1884.- In section 4 of the Agriculturists' Loans Act, 1884, in its application to the State of Maharashtra, in sub-section (1), for the words "for erecting" the words "for purchasing house sites or for erecting" shall be substituted.
