About the University

Kristu Jayanti University, established in 1999, is a premier institution of higher education committed to excellence in teaching, research and innovation. It attained autonomous status in 2013 and was conferred the status of Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, on July 8, 2025.

About the School of Law

School of Law, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), established and managed by the CMI Fathers, is recognized by the Bar Council of India. The School aims to produce principled, competent and globally competitive professionals in the fields of judiciary, legal academia, corporate law, and social service.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in full-time 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB programs at a university, college and institutions that have been approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to register in this competition.

Team Composition

Each team shall comprise a maximum of three (3) members wherein two (2) members shall perform the role of a speaker, and one (1) member shall perform the role of a researcher. Teams have the option to take part even in the absence of a researcher. But one of the other two team members needs to present themselves for the Researcher Test.

Mode

The competition shall be conducted in hybrid mode.

Competition Rounds

The Preliminary Rounds of the competition shall be conducted online, while the Octa-Final, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final Rounds shall be conducted offline at the University campus.

Fee

All teams registering for the competition shall pay a registration fee of ₹2000/-, which shall be applicable for participation in the online Preliminary Rounds.

Teams advancing to the Octa-Final Round and subsequent rounds shall be required to participate in offline mode and shall pay an additional registration fee of ₹3000/-. The registration fee does not include accommodation.
