About Amity University Jharkhand & Amity Law School

Established in 2016 in Ranchi, Amity University Jharkhand is part of the prestigious Amity Education Group. Amity Law School (ALSRNC), established in 2018, is dedicated to bridging the gap between theoretical legal knowledge and practical application.

The institution offers comprehensive programs including BA. LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B. (Hons.), LL.B. (Hons.), and LL.M.. Our Moot Court Association (MCA) is a dynamic body focused on honing the advocacy, research, and drafting skills of future legal professionals.

About the Competition

Curia Juris 2026 is designed as a hybrid event to ensure broad participation while maintaining the prestige of a physical final round. The competition is open to students currently enrolled in 3-year or 5-year integrated law courses at any recognized legal education center in India.

Eligibility

The competition is open for students who are registered in 3 Years or 5 Years Integrated Law Courses in any Centre of Legal Education of any University/College in India and they shall be eligible to participate in this competition. 3 teams from one college/university can participate.

Registration Fee

₹1500 + GST.

Format

The competition includes a Researcher’s Test, Preliminary, Quarter-Final, and Semi-Final rounds conducted online, followed by a Physical Final Round at our Ranchi campus.

Awards & cash prizes

• Winner Team: ₹25,000 cash prize, trophy, and a one-year complimentary subscription to SCC Online.
• Runner-Up Team:₹15,000 cash prize and Certificate of Merit.
• Best Mooter & Best Researcher: ₹5,000 each.
• All Participants: One month of access to SCC Online.

• Registration Deadline:15th April 2026 (05:00 P.M. IST).
• Memorial Submission (Soft Copy): 20th April 2026.
• Virtual Oral Rounds:23rd – 25th April 2026.
• Final Rounds (Physical):2nd Week of May 2026.
