Aquilaw promotes 2 Associate Partner to Equity Partner, 1 to Associate Partner & 6 Associates

Kolkata-headquartered firm Aquilaw, which had opened its third national-office in Mumbai last year, has promoted two associate partners to its partnership, one to associate partner and has also announced its associate promotions.

Aquilaw partner Sucharita Basu commented in a press release, “Aquilaw has completed three years with its offices at Kolkata being the first one, followed by Delhi and Mumbai.

“Each one of our promoted colleagues have to be acknowledged and credited for their valuable and loyal contribution towards the progress of the firm in all parameters, including mandates, turnover, knowledge & skill building, attraction & retention of talent and brand visibility. We wish them success and want them to emerge as extraordinary lawyers.”

Aquilaw had been founded by three partners in Kolkata.

New equity partners are Suman Mukherjee, Soumya Banerjee

New associate partner is Amit Nag.

New Principal Associates are Swarajit Dey, Piyush Agrawal, Soumen Mohanty.

New Senior Associates are Subhashree Pani, Sneha Bhawani, Swarnali Chanda.

He had joined in 2017 from Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals.
