November,3,2016:

On Wednesday, Prince of Saudi Arabia’s ruling Al Saud family was given lashes in a prison in Jeddah as a part of court-ordered punishment, as reported by Saudi newspaper.

This comes less than a month after the kingdom executed another prince for murder.

In a brief report in Okaz Daily, it was not disclosed for which offence he was being punished but it has also been stated that the unidentified Prince has also been ordered to serve a prison sentence.

The daily further added that, on Monday the flogging was carried out by a policeman after the medical checks were done to ensure that the prince was healthy.

A Saudi Prince was executed in Riyadh on October 19th after the Court found him guilty of shooting dead a fellow Saudi, in what Saudis stated was the first execution of a Prince since the 1970s.
