The Centre Government has extended the date for seeking comments/ suggestions from stakeholders on the working of arbitration law in the country and need for reforms to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to improve the overall arbitration ecosystem from 3rd to 10th July.
The Expert committee had invited comments and suggestions from all stakeholders, including Leamed Arbitrators, Judges, Senior Counsels, Advocates, Domestic and Intemational Law Firms, on various aspects of the working of the Act, in line with its Terms of Reference, by July 3rd, 2023'.
However, at the request of the stakeholders, the last date for submission of comments/objections/ suggestions has been extended till l0th July, 2023.
Concise written suggestions/comments of the stakeholders may accordingly be addressed to the e-mail id: mitind.mujumdar@gov.in and ndiac-dla@gov.in, till 10th July 2023.
