About the Competition:
Team Indian Dispute Resolution Centre and LatestLaws.com conducted the 1st National ADR Tournament, 2022 on the 6th and 7th of August.
The ADR problem for the Competition was on contemporary legal issues relating to construction arbitration. Eminent Judges, Lawyers of the highest standing in India converged to adjudicate the various rounds of the Competition.

Finals:
The finals was judged by an Arbitral Tribunal comprising the former Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Hon'ble Justice BB Parsoon; Senior Advocate Ratan K Singh; and Tejas Karia, Head of Arbitration, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
The Valedictory ceremony was presided over by Hon'ble Justice BB Parsoon, former Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court and Hon'ble Justice J R Midha, former Judge of Delhi High Court.
Law School students of SASTRA Deemed University were adjudged Winners of the First National ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Tournament, 2022.
At the end of the two-day event conducted on Saturday and Sunday, the student team constituting Fahima, Yugantara and Sashi Barathvaj of 5th year BCom LLB (Hons) was awarded a cash prize of ₹50,000.
Yugantara and Fahima were adjudged the Best Researcher and Best Speaker respectively in the moot based on the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Madhya Pradesh Dharmasastra National Law University was the runner-up in the finals.
Twenty teams took part in the National ADR Tournament.
