I also wanted to spread awareness about blood donation. The blood collected through the camp will be used for the needy people.”

The Dehradun based Mahant Indresh Hospital, a 1,000 bedded multi speciality & super speciality hospital, conducted the blood donation camp. Among those to voluntary donate blood included the groom Sumit Kumar, his father Brijpal Prajapati, mother Rekha Devi, brother Ankit Kumar & other guests.

Over 150 people voluntarily participated in the blood donation camp from 8 am to 12 noon to make this marriage function special. Sumit, 23, is involved in social work &  regularly participates in blood donation camps.

In modern times, when the practice & temptation to make any marriage function big is a common practice, Sumit decided to opt for the unusual marriage ceremony with a message for the society. Source Link
