The Central Government of India has assented for the appointment of Justice Biswajit Patil, Additional Judge of the Tripura High Court as Permanent Judge of the Tripura High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Biswajit Palit, Additional Judge of the Tripura High Court, to be a Judge of that High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
