Advocate Padma Lakshmi became the first Transgender Lawyer in the State of Kerala as she enrolled with the Bar Council of Kerala on Sunday, March 19th.

This even caught the attention of the State's Law Minister, P Rajeev, who put up a congratulatory post acknowledging many roadblocks that someone like her might have faced along her way while journeying in a society that's not very encouraging.
