The High Court of Himachal Pradesh will remain closed on two upcoming Saturdays i.e. 15th January 2022 and 22 January 2022, keeping in view the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. The High Court has issued a detailed SOP regarding the working of the Court.

The following guidelines/instructions issued by the High Court are as follows:

1. In order to break the chain of Covid-19 pandemic, the Saturdays falling on 15th January 2022 and 22 January 2022, are declared as closed days for the High Court as well as its Registry. The staff shall work from home and remain available at their residences and would not be allowed to leave the station without permission of the Authorities.

 2. Wearing of face cover/ face mask, is mandatory in the High Court Premises.

 3. No one is permitted to enter in the Office/Court Premises without proper thermal scanning.

4. Before entering the premises, everyone shall use sanitizer. Hand sanitizers, be provided at all the entry gates, Courts and Office rooms.

5. Social distancing be maintained inside and outside the Office/Court.

 6. Only those clients are permitted to enter in the Court Premises, who are appearing in person or their presence is specially required by the Court.

7. There shall be no gathering in the Court Premises.

8. Unnecessary visits/ movements in crowded places, shall be avoided by all the employees.

All the SOPs issued by the High Court and Authorities from time to time shall be adhered to in letter and spirit.
