The Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) announced that the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will soon operate special bus services connecting major court complexes across the city. Senior Advocates and DHCBA President, confirmed the plan following a meeting with the Special Commissioner and Managing Director of DTC.
Under the arrangement, DTC will run three buses between the Delhi High Court and Tis Hazari Court, as well as additional services linking the High Court with Saket Court. The buses will also stop at key tribunals and commissions, including the Delhi State Commission, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Patiala House Court, National Green Tribunal, and even the Supreme Court.
In addition to court connectivity, the service will link major metro stations and other courts like Dwarka and Karkardooma, with dedicated announcements for easy navigation. Litigants, advocates, and law clerks can avail of the service at nominal fares fixed by DTC, making inter-court travel simpler and more affordable.
This initiative builds on earlier plans by the Delhi government to launch dedicated e-bus shuttles for lawyers and fully air-conditioned buses connecting the Supreme Court, High Court, and Patiala House Court, reflecting a push toward convenient and accessible legal infrastructure in the city.
