The Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, has given its nod to the elevation of Justice Arvind Kumar Verma as a permanent judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
Justice Verma has been serving as an Additional Judge since 23 January 2024, and his performance during this tenure was reviewed before the Collegium endorsed his confirmation. The approval marks a key step in strengthening the judicial strength of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
