The Division Bench of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, comprising of Chief Justice Mr.Ravi Shankar Jha and Justice Arun Palli has decided to extend all interim orders/ directions passed by it and Courts subordinate to it till August 31, 2021
The Bench held that “It is extremely important material to indicate the severity of the pandemic and likelihood of its spurt in the near future, and in view of the consensus to the same expressed by learned counsel for the parties, the interim directions issued by this Court, vide order dated 28.4.2021, shall remain in operation till 31.8.2021.”
The Bench observes that considering the extension of lockdown and the periodical government orders, it is imperative to extend these orders till a further date.
The Court listed the matter on 20.08.2021 for next hearing
