NIA arrested an accused Abraham Tuti S/o Late Mangal Tuti, R/o Latardih, PS- Saiko, Dist- Khunti, Jharkhand in connection with the investigation of NIA Case . Earlier 11 persons have been arrested and chargesheeted in the case.
This case pertains to an attack on the Police party by the cadres of CPI (Maoist) on 14.06.2019 at Kukru Haat in District Saraikela-Kherswan, in which 05 police personnel were killed and their arms and ammunitions were looted. Initially FIR No 16/2019 dated 15.06.2019 was registered at PS Tiruldih of Saraikela-Kharsawan which was taken over by NIA .
During investigation it was found that Abraham Tuti used to supply explosive materials and provide other logistics support to the members of CPI(Maoist) as an Over Ground Worker. Further investigation in the case continues.
