The Central Government of India has assented for the appointment of Justice Shree Chandrashektrrar, Judge of Bombay High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of AJticle 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shi Justice Shree Chandrashektrar, Judge of the Bombay High Court to be Chief Justice of the BombaY High Court with effect &om the date he assumes charge of his office”.
