The President of India has assented to the appointment of Justice Pritinker Diwaker as Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court.
The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Pritinker Diwaker, Judge of the Allahabad High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
