The Central Government of India has assented for the appointment of Justice Puthichira Sam Koshy, Judge of the Telangana High Court as the Acting Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Puthichira Sam Koshy, Judge of the Telangana High Court, to perform the duties of the office ofthe Chief Justice of that High Court consequent upon transfer of Shri Justice Sujoy Paul, Acting Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court as a Judge of the Calcutta High Court and till Shri Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Justice of Tripura High Court takes charge as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court. ”
