Maharshtra Government has decided to provide post-retirement benefits and allowances to the judges of the Bombay High Court. These benefits will include allowance for housekeeping, driver and telephone expenses tot the retired Chief Justices and Judges of the Bombay High Court.
The benefits shall also be rendered to the surviving spouses of the retired judges. The allowance would be Rs, 14000 for domestic help and Rs. 6000 for the telephone exchanges.
These are in addition to the retirement benefits granted by the Union Law Ministry and includes a pension amount, leave enchashment and death-cum-retirement gratuity.
