Justice M Nagaprasanna of the Karnataka High Court shall be hearing 522 Cases today that have been listed for hearing. He had previouslu grabbed the headlines for hearing about 480 cases. Before him, Retired Justice B Sreenivas Gowda of the Karnataka High Court had heard about 700 cases in a single day.
A report stated that the Supreme Court under Justice DY Chandrachud had disposed of around 6844 cases between November 9 to the middle of December last year which was way above the rate of institution of new cases.
