The President of India has nominated Hon’ble Mr Justice Surya Kant, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Executive Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
The appointment has been made in exercise of the powers under Clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
Justice Surya Kant will assume charge as Executive Chairman of NALSA with effect from May 14, 2025.
