The Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court, comprising Chief Justice Pritinker Diwaker and Justice Ajay Bhanot has taken suo moto cognizance of the increasing cases of Dengue fever in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district.
The Bench has recognized the seriousness of the increasing cases of Dengue fever in Prayagraj district and has decided to initiate legal proceedings or an inquiry to address the situation.
The Court also inquired from the Additional Advocate General about whether the State Government has a mechanism in place to determine which genome or strain of malaria is prevalent or prominent in the area.
