The High Court of Bombay has decided to suspend the functioning of all the Benches, Tribunals and District Courts in the state of Bombay to pay respect to the departed soul of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.
The High Court shall, however, remain open on a Saturday in the immediate future for compensating the loss of the court working day.
However, if any matter requires immediate attention and cannot wait till Tuesday, 8 th February, 2022, the relevant Bench may be approached by E-mail, for consideration. The matter may be taken up for consideration if it satisfies the condition of extreme urgency.
The matters already on the board of Monday, 7th February 2022 will be taken up by the respective Benches on 8 th February 2022.
