The Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Pankaj Mithal has instructed all the District Judiciary of the Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to celebrate Independence Day and Republic day at each District Headquarter in the UTs.
The Order issued by the Chief Justice as “The District Judiciary at each District Headquarter in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh shall celebrate the Independence Day and the Republic Day.”
The Order further instructed that The Principal District Judge of the concerned district, in his absence the senior most available Additional District Judge or Chief Judicial Magistrate shall hoist/unfurl the National Flag.
The order was issued by Mr. Jawad Ahmad , Registrar General of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, , on August 11.
