The Central Government has notified the renewal of the term of Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal as an Additional Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court for one year.
The notification issued to this regard reads:
"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Additional Judge of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, to be an Additional Judge of that High Court for one year with effect from 3-06-2024".
The notification is followed by the resolution of the Supreme Court as passed on April 24th based on the recommendations of the High Court suggesting one year extension of the term of Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal.
