The Delhi-Noida Chilla Border, which has been closed for 12 days due to the protests of farmers against agricultural laws, is opened now.  The farmers sitting on the strike on the Chilla border met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. During this, the border was opened for traffic after the consent of both the parties.

A 5-member team of farmers met at the Defense Minister's residence. Agriculture Minister was also present in the meeting. The demands which consist 18 points were placed before the Defense Minister. The main demand is for formation of the Commission for Farmers. MSP is not mentioned in the demands. One farmer says that our leaders met the Defense Minister and the Agriculture Minister today. We have been assured that our demands will be met, so we have opened the way.

Late night barricades on the road from Noida to Delhi were removed, after which the people started using this route to go to Delhi. Due to the Chilla border being closed, the people had to go through DND and Kalindi Kunj to go to Delhi.

Farmer leaders said that we have decided to intensify the movement. Farmer leader Kamalpreet Pannu said that on Sunday, thousands of farmers will take out a tractor march from the Rajasthan border and will close the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
