Delhi High Court Registrar General informed the Supreme Court Wednesday that an additional 11 candidates have been declared successful.

Eleven more candidates will become Judges in Delhi after being declared successful following the re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

The Delhi High Court Registrar General informed the Supreme Court Wednesday that an additional 11 candidates have been declared successful in the Delhi Judicial Services exam 2014 after their names were cleared by a panel appointed by the top court.

Advocate A D N Rao, the High Court’s counsel, placed before a bench led by Justice Dipak Misra the final result, seeking its approval to publish it. The court gave its assent for the result to be published.

The bench also agreed to consider suggestions for making the process of selection of trial court judges in Delhi more transparent and free from nepotism.

Its suggestions included ensuring filling of Optical Mark Recognition sheets in ball pen instead of pencil, disclosing names of selected candidates as well as providing copy of answer-sheets under the RTI Act.

Seeking recommendations from all parties, the court said it would consider their suggestions on July 19. IE
