On Friday, the Delhi High Court was placed on high alert after a threatening letter indicated the possibility of a bomb blast within the Court premises. The letter, received earlier today, prompted immediate precautionary measures by the Court authorities.

Several benches were temporarily adjourned as judges and court staff were evacuated from the High Court building. A bomb disposal squad, along with security personnel, was deployed to assess and secure the premises.

According to sources, the letter warned of an explosion in the afternoon, leading the High Court administration to act swiftly to ensure the safety of judges, lawyers, and other court attendees. The matter is under active investigation by the relevant security agencies, and the court continues to follow strict safety protocols.
