October 13,2017:

Unanimous Resolution has been adopted by Coordination Committee of all the DCBA wherein it was alleged that some judges were repeatedly misbehaving with lawyers by treating them as the subordinates.

Lawyers of all the six district courts in Delhi will be on a day-long strike today to protest against the alleged misconduct of some judges.

Advocate Jaiveer Singh Chauhan, Secretary General of Coordination Committee of Delhi Bar Associations has stated that,"Reasons for calling a complete strike are misconduct of the judges with the litigants and huge corruption in judiciary".

He further added that,"We have already given names of the erring judges to HC but no action has been taken so far".

Strike by District Court advocates is likely to paralyse work in all the six district courts at Patiala House, Rohini, Saket, Tis Hazari, Dwarka and Karkardooma.

The strike is being observed on October 13 in all District courts situated in Delhi to draw attention of the judicial administration to take action against erring judges so that judges act in a judicious and dignified manner, thus not treat lawyers as their subordinates.
