The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 6th October, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following Advocates as Judges in the Karnataka High Court:

 1. Shri Anant Ramanath Hegde,

2. Shri Cheppudira Monnappa Poonacha,

 3. Shri Siddaiah Rachaiah, and

 4. Smt. Kannankuzhyil Sreedharan Hemalekha.

As of December 2020, there are 46 judges in the High Court, out of a sanctioned maximum strength of 62.
