The Central Government of India has notified the transfer of Justice Atul Sreedharan from the Madhya Pradesh High Court to the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, as a Judge of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.”
