The Central Government of India has assented to the appointment of three Additional Judges, to be Permanent Judge of Calcutta High Court.
The notification issued by Law Ministry notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices
- Krishna Rao,
- Bibhas Ranjan De and
- Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee,
Additional Judges of Calcutta High Court, to be Judges of that High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”
