Central Government has appointed one judicial officer as Additional judge of the Kerala High Court.
The notification states that -
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Basant Balaji, to be an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
About Shri Basant Balaji
Advocate Basant had served as a senior government pleader from 2006 t0 2011, dealing cases related to land acquisition and Motor Vehicles Act. He was a standing counsel for Kerala Financial Corporation and was a panel advocate for Life Insurance Corporation of India.
