Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended a Head Constable, PS Gandhi Nagar, Delhi Police, Delhi while accepting bribe of Rs. 40,000/- from the complainant.
CBI registered a case on complaint against said Head Constable, PS Gandhi Nagar, Delhi Police, Delhi. It was alleged that accused demanded bribe of Rs. 1,00,000/- from complainant for not taking action on the complaint against the complainant. After negotiation accused agreed to accept Rs. 75,000/-.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused Head Constable red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs. 40,000/- from the complainant.
Searches are being conducted at the premises of the accused.
Investigation is continuing.
