The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 14th July, 2022 has, on reconsideration, resolved to reiterate its earlier recommendation for elevation of the following Advocates as Judges in the Allahabad High Court:
1. Shri Shishir Jain,
2. Shri Manu Khare,
3. Shri Rishad Murtaza,
4. Shri Dhruv Mathur, and
5. Shri Vimlendu Tripathi.
The Supreme Court Collegium has also approved the proposal for elevation of the following Advocates, as Judges in the Allahabad High Court:
1. Shri Saurabh Srivastava, and
2. Shri Om Prakash Shukla.
The High Court of Allahabad is working with 93 Judges only while having 67 posts vacant.
