The President of India has appointed Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari as Chief Justice of Madras High Court.

The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, Judge of the Madras High Court, to be the Chief Justice of Madras High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

About Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari

Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari was appointed as Judge of the High Court of Rajasthan High Court on Jul 5, 2007. He was transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath as Judge on March 15, 2019. He was transferred to Madras High Court and took oath as judge on Nov 22nd 2021.
