The President of India has assented to the appointment of one Judicial Officer as Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court.

The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Om Prakash Tripathi to be Permanent Judge of the Allahabad  High Court.”

He was holding charge of District & Sessions Judge Varanasi.
