The President of India has assented to the appointment of eight lawyers as Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court.
The Eight new judges are:
1. Chandra Kumar Rai
2. Krishan Pahal
3. Sameer Jain
4. Ashutosh Srivastava
5. Subhash Vidyarthi
6. Brij Raj Singh
7. Shree Prakash Singh
8. Vikas Budhwar
Additional Judges will hold the office for a period of two years with the effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
