The Allahabad High Court has issued notice regarding the non-functioning of High Court on 15th, January for sanitization of entire premises of high court's campus due to high surge in number of Covid-19 cases.
The order issued by Allahabad High Court stated that,
"Hon'ble the Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, has been pleased to pass following order on 13.01.2022: "In view of the rising number of COVID-19 positive cases at Prayagraj & Lucknow, it appears imperative that an extensive sanitization of entire premises of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad & Lucknow, be carried out. Hence, it is hereby directed that the Judicial and Administrative Sections in the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad & Lucknow, shall remain closed on January 15, 2022, in order to facilitate sanitization."
