The Allahabad High Court has prepared panel of 116 advocates for the purpose of appointment as Amicus Curiae of Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court for the period the 3 years as under:
- Amicus Curiae for criminal side: 63 Advocates
- 36 Advocates (for the offences punishable with the imprisonment for a term of more than 7 years)
- 27 Advocates (for the offences punishable with the imprisonment for a term of upto 7 years)
- Amicus Curiae for Civil side: 53 Advocates
The Court has also directed to all the Bench Secretaries and concerned Section Officers of Judicial Sections to maintain proper record regarding appointment of Amicus Curiae by the Hon'ble Courts.
