The President of India has assented to the appointment of Justice Sandeep Taneja as a Permanent Judge of Rajasthan High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Sandeep Taneja, to be a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office. In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Baljinder Singh Sandhu, (ii) Bipin Gupta, (iii) Sanjeet Purohit, (iv) Ravi Chirania, (v) Anuroop Singhi and (vi) Smt. Sangeeta Sharma, to be Additional Judges of the Rajasthan High Court for a period of two years, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”
