Mr. Ashish Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner through V.C.

2. Mr. N.K. Papnoi, learned Standing Counsel for the State/respondents.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner places reliance upon the interim order dated 30.01.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No. 216 of 2026.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the widow of retired employee, who is being paid family pension under the Old Pension Scheme. By the impugned order dated 16.01.2026, more particularly Clause 3 Kha (v), the pension of the petitioner is being stopped with immediate effect.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prior to issuance of the impugned order, which is general in nature, no opportunity of hearing has been provided to the petitioner and the pension is being stopped with immediate effect.

6. Learned State Counsel prayed for and is granted four weeks' time to file counter affidavit.

7. List on 12.03.2026.

8. In the meanwhile, the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 16.01.2026 shall remain stayed qua the petitioner.

9. Interim relief application and urgency application (IA Nos.1 & 2 of 2026) stand disposed of. [[
