Petitioner is resident of Village Kusyan, Tehsil and District Pauri Garhwal. According to him, a motor road, namely Badkot Mandir to Khipladhar Gheru was constructed under District Plan during the financial years 2015-16 to 2018-19, over petitioner's land, however, no amount has been paid to the petitioner as compensation.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that total 4 nali 8 muthi land belonging to petitioner was affected by the road construction work.

3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:-

"(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the concerned respondents compensation to give the precise compensation of the land acquired by the respondents belong to petitioner.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction appropriate in nature directing the respondent concerned to compensate the

2026:UHC:1166 petitioner and further to take necessary action against the erring person who is instrumental on the same.

(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction appropriate in nature directing the respondent concerned to compensate looking to future loss to the petitioners and further to take necessary action against the erring person who is instrumental on the same."

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has repeatedly made representation to the authorities concerned. The last representation was made on 07.11.2025. He confines his prayer and submits that Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, Public Works Department, Pauri be directed to take decision on the representation submitted on 07.11.2025.

5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, Public Works Department, Pauri to take decision on petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2025 as per law, within twelve weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
